  • When I try to send a text to an e-mail address I see a message "Failed to connect to SMTP server". How can I fix it?

    Check your e-mail settings. If you use a firewall permit the outgoing connection for Ardamax Keylogger. If you still see the error message, try to use another e-mail address. You can create a mailbox for free, for example, at www.hotpop.com.
  • I have successfully sent a test message but it has not been delivered. Why?

    If you use a SPAM filter check its settings or try to send the message to your other e-mail address.
  • In the Log Viewer I don't see some options described in Help. How can I find them?

    You can fail to see these panels if your screen has low resolution and these panels don't go in the screen. To get access to them minimize the top panels (such as "Date Filter" and "Content Filter" ) by clicking their header.
  • I have received log files via e-mail, how can I open them now?

    In your mail client open the message sent by the keylogger and save all its attachments to one folder. Then run Log Viewer (either from Ardamax Keylogger or on the Start menu) and select the File->Open menu item. Specify the folder containing the saved log files.

    Save all log files you receive to one folder and Log Viewer will open them as one joint log file.
  • Why is a web-activity log empty, though I have visited some web-pages on the Internet?

    The current version of Ardamax Keylogger records only the addresses visited in Internet Explorer. Further versions will support other browsers as well.
  • When I try to open a log file I see an error message "Log corrupted". How can I fix it?

    The log file might have been corrupted because of system failure or if the computer was turned off incorrectly. To fix the error delete the corrupted log file (use the Clear button on the Log page of the Ardamax Keylogger settings window).
  • Are Ardamax Keylogger updates free for registered users?

    Registered users get free updates for all minor releases. As to major releases (like 2.0, 3.0 etc.) they have a 50% discount.
  • How can I print log files?

    Open the log file in the Log Viewer , select File->Save and specify the type of the exported log file: a web-page or a plain text. Then print the exported file.
  • Why does not Log Viewer display some keystrokes?

    Check the "Show non-characters" option to display them.
  • When I select some records they are displayed as empty. Why?

    Such records contain keystrokes that can not be seen in the current view. To view them check the "Show non-characters" and the "Show deleted chars" options.
